H.E. Noor Muhammad Jadmani, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Tehran donated a collection of 61 books during a visit to the ECO Cultural Institute on Tuesday, January 27, 2015. The books are about the history, culture and arts of the region, sent by the National Foundation of Pakistan.
The ambassador met with Iftikhar Husain Arif, President, and Mohammad Reza Haji Karim Jabbari, Executive Director of the Institute. The sides exchanged views on the significance of strengthening support for research on the history, culture and civilization of the ECO region, including the development of ECI library.
ECO Cultural Institute Library contains unique volumes on civilization, history, culture, arts and literature of the member states of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), collected over 40 years and now is available online for researchers and enthusiasts.
