ECI will organize a special event to celebrate "Shab-e Chelleh" (the winter solstice night) with the cooperation of South Korean Embassy in Tehran.
According to ECO Cultural Institute, H.E. Kim Seung-Ho, Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to Tehran, met with Mohammad Mahdi Mazeheri, ECI President.
During the meeting, having been briefed about the activities of ECO Cultural Institute and potentials of the ECO Member States, Seung-Ho expressed willingness to organize joint programs with these countries.
Collaboration for organizing a special event to celebrate the winter solstice night, locally called Dongji in South Korea, was among the programs agreed upon.
The meeting was concluded with H.E. Ambassador's visit to ECI Specialized Library, ECO Diplomatic Art Gallery and Conference Center.
Seung-Ho assured that cultural exchanges between ECO Member States and other countries including South Korea will witness a significant upsurge during Dr. Mazeheri's presidency.
ECO Cultural Institute is an international organization which, besides cooperating with ECO Member States, intends to make joint efforts in the areas of arts, culture, literature, science and research with other countries.
