According to ECO Cultural Institue, Seyed Mohammad Beheshti, head of Research Institute of Cultural Heritage & Tourism (RICHT), and his delegation met with ECI President, Mohammad Mahdi Mazaheri, at ECI headquarters.
During the meeting, the two sides deliberated upon the potential activities to be arranged across the ECO Region and expressed willingness to broaden joint efforts.
Intangible heritage was one of the key issues discussed at the meeting upon which the two sides reached an agreement.
Publication of journals, organizing educational and research workshops across the region and sharing scholarly papers and materials produced at the RICHT and ECI were among other topics considered.
ECO Cultural Institute is an international organization which, besides cooperating with ECO Member States, intends to make joint efforts in the areas of arts, culture, literature, science and research with other countries.
