In a meeting between President of ECO Cultural Institute and Director of Mirase Maktoob Research Center on Sunday May 13th 2018 a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed to implement cooperation on joint research and publication, as well as to hold exhibitions and workshops.
According to ECI Public Relations, Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Mazaheri, ECI President in his speech at the meeting, alluded to the innumerable historic capacities of the ECO Region saying: "In case a precise plan is implemented, more unparalleled common heritages from this civilizational region could be included on the World Heritage List."
Dr. Irani, Director of Mirase Maktoob Research Center also welcomed the standpoints of ECI President and stated "unfortunately no attempt has been made in the past to register common written heritage of ECO region which is hoped to be actualized in future."
At the end of the meeting, Director of Mirase Maktoob Research Center visited the specialized library, diplomatic gallery and amphitheater of ECO Cultural Institute.
