News - Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Mazaheri, president of ECO Cultural Institute, met and talked with the new Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Dr. Hadi Soleimanpour, on Monday, 2 July 2018.
According to ECI news, at the meeting, Dr. Mazaheri congratulated the appointment of Dr. Hadi Soleimanpour as the new ECO Secretary General and expressed hope that a new chapter will be opened in economic-cultural interactions among the ECO member countries.
The new ECO secretary general also welcomed the extensive objectives of ECO Cultural Institute and appreciated the programs implemented during the tenure of Dr. Mazaheri, saying that such programs will provide appropriate ground to expand cultural cooperation between Iran and the ECO countries.
Dr. Soleimanpour also expressed hope to further increase cooperation in economic-cultural fields between ECO countries.
