The opening of 'Tehran Vogue' event was held at ECI headquarters in the presence of Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Mazaheri, ECI President, the new Pakistani ambassador to Iran and a group of representatives of diplomatic corps stationed in Iran, Iranian artists and foreign media.
According to ECI Public Relations, during the event held in the evening of Sunday August 19, 2018, a number of exquisite, hand-woven Persian carpets were publicly displayed for the first time by Rassam Arabzadeh Foundation. In another part of this art event, a fashion show of Persian costumes was staged along with a display of works of visual arts.
'Tehran Vogue' was concluded at ECO Diplomatic Auditorium with Sama music performance led by Amir Hossein Hassani Nia who was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the ECI President and the head of Rassam Arabzadeh Foundation.
'Tehran Vogue' is a multipurpose event aimed to introduce part of Tehran's contemporary art in the areas of visual arts, carpet design and weaving, Persian fashion and music which is organized in four sections called 'The Ancient Norouz', 'Tirgan', 'Mehregan' and 'Sadeh'.
The event's exhibition is open to public till August 21, 2018 from 10:00 to 21:00 at ECO Diplomatic Auditorium with prior coordination through +98-27673200.
