The first meeting of the international event titled 'Christmas & Norouz' was held on January 16, 2019 and was presided over by Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Mazaheri, ECI President, at the headquarters of this international organization.
According to ECI news, at the meeting Dr. Mazaheri referred to a special position of the public diplomacy in the policy-making of this international cultural institution and stated: "The Christmas & Norouz international event is a symbol of the cultural bonds existing among different world nations and aims to convey the message of peace, security and development. The project was initiated by the ECO Cultural Institute and will be implemented with the collaboration of ARIA Foundation in Italy.
It is worth mentioning that following the exchange of ideas between the participants including the Vatican Ambassador to Iran and the representatives of the UN office in Tehran and other guests, the logo of the international Christmas & Norouz event was signed unveiled and signed.
