Iran Vice President visits ECI
The Vice President and Head of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran visited the ECO Cultural Institute.

According to ECI news, Ali Asghar Mounesan, vice president and head of the Cultural Heritage Organization, met with Mohammad Mehdi Mazaheri, the ECI president, January 9, 2018 at the headquarters of this international organization and discussed joint cooperation in different areas of tourism, nomination of Tabriz as the tourism capital of the Islamic countries in 2018, the Silk Road, Norouz and organizing different visual arts festivals.

While expressing his appreciation for the jobs undertaken by ECI, Mounesan said: "the least responsibility of international organizations are fostering friendship among the countries for better coexistence of the human beings and establishing world peace. With the presences of Dr. Mazaheri, who himself is among the noble men of the country, ECI may play its role in bringing the people of the region together through all-out cooperation particularly the area of culture."

At the sidelines of the meeting, the head of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran visited the ECO Specialized Library, ECO Diplomatic Art Gallery and Conference Hall.
