On Tuesday, March 5, 2019, Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Mazaheri, the ECI President, met H.E. Mr. Draga Stanbuk, the Croatian Ambassador to Iran, at the ECI headquarters.
According to ECI news, at the meeting, Dr. Mazaheri pointed to the common cultural and historical commonalities of ECO countries with Croatia and said: "Organizing programs in the areas of arts, culture, research and academia are potential fields of mutual collaborations between ECI and the Croatian Embassy ".
The successful background of holding Mexican-Spanish film week at ECO Diplomatic Conference Hall, organizing Croatian film week, photo exhibition of Croatian tourism landmarks such as Zagreb treasure, Mimara museum, Gornji Grad and St. Mark Church at the ECO Diplomatic Art Gallery were among the potential fields of cooperation discussed.
At his remarks, Mr. Draga Stanbuk, the Croatian ambassador, welcomed ECI President's proposals and emphasized on ECI-Croatian collaboration in near future.
The meeting concluded with the visit of the Croatian ambassador to different parts of ECI headquarters.
