On Wednesday June 12, 2019, the meeting of policy-making council of the 1st Meeting of Heads of ECO National Museums was held in Iran National Museum featuring the presence of Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Mazaheri, ECI president; and senior directors of Iran national museums.
According to ECI public relations, during the meeting attended by the head of Iran National Museum, the Director General of National Museums Affairs, ICOM director along with a group of ECI officials, and the agenda of the 1st Meeting of Heads of ECO National Museums slated in 2019 and the text of the meeting's final statement were reviewed once again.
Moreover, the proposal for organizing sideline exhibitions at the event, reviewing the charter of ECO Museums Union, establishment of Norouz ICOM committee as well as joint exhibition of ECO countries were discussed.
