Sarvar Bakhti, ECI president, met and talked with Dr. Hamid Shahabadi, deputy Iran national media.
According to ECI public relations, at the meeting held on Sunday January 26, 2020, Sarvar Bakhti, ECI president, said that the media play an important role in the society and added: "In today's world, media hold a special position and it is through media that very fruitful and effective efforts may be made."
The ECI president then continued his remarks on the subject saying that the media and even cyberspace should be utilized for fair and real promotion of the ECO region.
Dr. Hamid Shahabadi, deputy Iran national media, pointed to the national media's capabilities and potentials for dissemination of information and highlighted the exceptional position of media in public opinion. He then expressed readiness for all-out cooperation with ECI.
At this meeting, Dr. Mohammad Jafar Mohammad Zadeh, director of Iran Radio; Dr. Esmail Azar, Mohaghegh, and other directors of national media.
