The illustrated book 'Visual Arts of the Republic of Azerbaijan' was launched in Baku's book center.
According to ECI public relations quoting Day.Az, the book has been published by the Painter's House of the Republic of Azerbaijan in line with the publication of a series of books published on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the foundation of this art organization.
Gunel Rzayeva, the director of Baku book center; Farhad Khalilov, the head of Azerbaijan's Painters' Association; Anar Rezayov, the head of Azerbaijan's Writers' Association; Foad Slayev, people's painter; Ziadkhan Aliov, the renowned artist pointed to the importance of the publication of this book at the launching ceremony.
In the book released by Galart publications, 252 works by the country's renowned artists have been collected presenting a glance of the position of national art in the country and Azerbaijan's global status.
