The 9th Fajr International Fashion and Clothing Festival will be held on February 13 - 18, 2020 in Goftegoo Park, Tehran.
According to ECI public relation quoting IRINN, the festival will be organized in 8 sections of competition, scientific and academic section, industry and new technologies, ethnicities and provinces, international section, applied products, live design, and hijab institutes.
Shafapour, the secretary of Fashion and Clothing Design of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Iran, said the Festival aims to create a novel outlook towards market, provide an effective competitive environment among the fashion and clothing design, encourage fashion designers to present novel styles, promote designing inspired by Iranian-Islamic symbols and discover new talents.
He then added that 7, 734 entries have been submitted to the Festival's secretariat and that each section will announce three winners. Shafapour continued his remarks saying that countries such as Indonesia, Iraq, India, Italy, Turkey, Oman and Slovenia will present their traditional clothes at the international section.
Series of Fajr International Festivals are held annually in different fields including cinema, theater, visual arts plus fashion and clothing.
