'Sociological History of Yazd's Zoroastrians' conducted by one of the renowned scholars from Yazd city was published by the Iranian Studies Center of the University of California in Irvine.

According to ECI public relations quoting ISNA, the results of a 9-year, continuous and direct research of Ali Akbar Tashakori Bafghi, history professor of Yazd University on the sociological history of Yazd's Zoroastrians, has been published by the Iranian Studies Center of the University of California in Irvine.
The 3-volume research book is first of its kind and has been based on primary research documents. The first volume deals with the history since the arrival of Islam in Iran to the establishment of Naseri Association in Yazd while the second one cover the sociological developments of the Zoroastrians from Naseri Association to the collapse of Qajar dynasty. The third volume of the series comprises of information of the sociological life of Behdinan during Pahlavi period to the Islamic Revolution.
