Works of Authors from Rep. Azerbaijan Nominated for Moscow Literary Prize
The works of two authors from the Republic of Azerbaijan were nominated for Moscow Literary Prize.

According to ECI public relations quoting Day.az, the book on child growth and training by Sariya Mamedova was nominated in journalism section of the Award in 2018 and the collection of Zeytulla Djabbarov's poems was nominated in poetry section.
Born in 1947, Sariya Mamedova is a member of Azerbaijan and Russia Authors Union and has written more than 20 books and 140 scholarly papers. She has also won several renowned local and international awards and was awarded the title of the Author of the Year in 2013 and Golden Pen Media of Azerbaijan Award in 2018.
Zeytulla Djabbarov was born in 1946 and is a well-known journalist and a member of Russia Authors Union. He has written more than 20 books so far and three of his books were best sellers in the country.
It is worth mentioning that Moscow Literary Prize is one of the most creditable international awards which was established in 1954 at the initiative of International Authors Union which has its headquarters in Moscow.
