'Overcoming Barriers' is a documentary film directed by Banu Ramazanova, the renowned Kazakh filmmaker, has qualified to participate in three prestigious international film festivals concurrently.
According to ECI public relations quoting Kabar.24, the film has been made at Kazakh Film Studio at the instruction of Kazakhstan's Culture and Sports Ministry and explores the role of horse-riding sport in Kazakhstan's culture and history. The film has made way to the Anatolia International Film Festival (Turkey, 30-31 May, 2020), International Documentary Festival of Ierapetra (Greece, 1-7 August, 2020) and Docs Without Borders Film Festival of the U.S.A. (23-30 August 2020).
