Due to corona virus pandemic, Tajikistan National Museum has made virtual visit available.
According to ECI public relations quoting Khovar News Agency, since the outbreak of corona virus in the world, the number of visitors to the National Museum of Tajikistan has significantly decreased and thus, the Museum officials have decided to make virtual visits available for both local and foreign visitors.
According to museum officials, those interested may visit the museum's treasures on social media including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. in Tajik, Russian, English, Arabic and Chinese languages.
There the audiences may become acquainted with museum objects dating from the Stone Age to modern times. Around 35 virtual tours of different historic eras been provided for the visitors. The tours include the Stone Age, the Bronze Age, Sarazm, Zoroastrianism, Achaemenid period, Amudarya Treasure, Greece and the West, Kushanid period, Samanid government, Hephthalites and World War II have.
