At the initiative of two Tajik businessmen, Tajikistan's University of Science and Technology of will be built in Khujand, the capital of Tajikistan's Sughd Province.
According to ECO Cultural Institute quoting Khovar news agency of Tajikistan, Nouruddin Qasimov and Kameljan Kamelov, intend to construct the university to contribute to the 20-year plan for education and development of sciences (2020-2040).
The newly established university will offer twenty disciplines (in-class and online) in 68 classrooms, 8 laboratories, 20 specialized rooms, 5 large halls, a library, a restaurant and a dormitory.
It is worth mentioning that currently, Khujand has four universities.
