Iranian Film Week Kicks off in Sofia
With the cooperation of Cultural Attache of Iran Embassy in Bulgaria, "MENAR" International Film Festival kicked off in Sofia in the framework of Iran Film Week.

According to ECO Cultural Institute quoting Iran Embassy in Sofia, during July 24-30, 2020, one Iranian movie will be screened each night in Sofia Cinema House. Movies such as "Pastarioni" by Soheil Movafaq, "Qasr-e Shirin" by Reza Mirkarimi, "The Little Rusty Brains" by Houman Seyyedi, "Motherhood" by Roqiyeh Tavakoli, "Fasl-e Narges" by Negar Azarbayjani, "316" by Peyman Haqqani and Mahshid Afsharzadeh's "Five Starred" are the ones that will be screened at this cultural event.
According to this report, to encourage the audience to better attend this cultural event, every night a package of Iran cultural products will be awarded to one of the audiences chosen through lottery. Bulgarian cinemas are now authorized to screen films with 50% of the hall's capacity and in compliance with hygienic protocols.
