Mass Prayers Suspended in Kyrgyzstan to Prevent Corona Virus Outbreak
The Kyrgyz Council of Ulema announced that in order to prevent the spread of the corona virus, the Eid al-Adha prayers will not be practiced publicly.

According to a Fars News Agency correspondent in Bishkek, the Kyrgyz Council of Ulema said that mass Eid prayers will not be practiced to prevent the spread of Corona virus. Due to the same reason, the Kyrgyz Muslims may make their sacrifices this coming Friday while observing hygiene protocols.
Moreover, the Mufties emphasized that prayers should be made at homes and relatives should not be visited on the occasion. In Kyrgyzstan, the death toll has risen to 33,000 with more than 21,000 recovered and 1,301 died. In Bishkek city and Chui province, the epidemic situation has improved and many problems of shortage of medicine and medical equipment have been solved.
Currently, the government's main goal is to prevent the spread of the corona virus in other provinces where the health infrastructure is weaker than in Bishkek
