President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, approved the symbol of celebration of the 700th anniversary of the great Tajik poet Kamal Khujandi.
According to ECO Cultural Institute quoting Khovar news agency, the symbol was prepared by the Academy of Fine Arts, Union of Artists and the Tajik State Institute of Fine Arts and Design.
The symbol which has a round shape, and is surrounded by red, white and green lines symbolizing the national flag includes the words Kamal Khujandi written in Tajik and 700 is displayed in numbers.
Ministries, government agencies, institutions, organizations, executive bodies of state authorities of provinces, cities and districts, the mass media can use of this symbol in the celebrations devoted to the 700th anniversary of the great Tajik poet.
It is worth mentioning that at the suggestion of Tajikistan, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has declared 2020 as the 700th anniversary of Kamal Khujandi, the renowned poet and mystic.
Kamal Khujandi was born in Khujand, Tajikistan and is buried in Tabriz, Iran.
