Veteran actor and producer Sakina Samo's directorial debut Intezaar is all set to premiere in New York at the Harlem International Film Festival.
The Mera Naseeb star took to social media to celebrate the news with her fans and followers.
"Our Intezaar (Waiting) will have its world premiere at the Harlem international Film Festival in New York. See the link for all films being shown and how to watch online," she tweeted.
Written by Bee Gul, previously known for her work in Dar Si Jati Hai Sila, the story revolves around a family's patience. A father waiting for his family to leave him, a mother waiting for her son to come home and a daughter taking care of her ageing parents, waiting for them to pass on; loneliness, indifference of children and the fear of death, ever approaching.
The feature film will star Samina Ahmed, Khalid Ahmed, Kaif Ghaznavi, Raza Ali Abid and Adnan Jaffar in leading roles.
Samo has been rewarded with the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2011, for her exemplary contribution to the Pakistani entertainment industry.
