The book Ancient Sarazm: Old & New Penjikent" was published by 'Noshir' publications in Tajikistan.
According to ECO Cultural Institute quoting Khovar news agency, the book consists of 5 chapters and elaborates upon the history of old Penjikent, its heroes and great ones and as well as the thriving era of the city. Part of this book illustrates the natural landscapes and attractions of this region.
Sarzam is located on the left bank of the Zarafshan River, 15 km from Penjkent city and this year, Tajikistan will celebrate the 5500th anniversary of this historic city.
