Uzbekistan Becomes World's Biggest Gold Seller
Uzbekistan sold 11.6 tonnes of gold in June 2020.

According to ECO Cultural Institute quoting akipress, After Uzbekistan, Mongolia holds the second place with Russia and Germany standing third.

Meanwhile, Turkey ranks first in the world in gold purchases with 19.4 tonnes.

Qatar, India, Kazakhstan and Ukraine are the next countries making the largest amount of gold purchase in the world after Turkey.

Uzbekistan plans to invest about $ 230 million in the search, evaluation and exploration of new gold reserves between 2020 and 2024.
