Moscow State Museum of Oriental Art hosted an exhibition of the works by Azerbaijani masters of the Absheron school.
According to ECO Cultural Institute quoting Day.az, the exhibition features about a hundred works created by Tair Salakhov, Rasim Babayev and Kamal Akhmedov and other outstanding masters who worked in the second half of the XX - early XXI century.
Specialists are of the opinion that the unique works of the artists of this school have not lost their value over time; on the contrary, these artists have always been recognized by the world art community and their works have been collected and preserved by the experts of the country museums.
The State Museum of Oriental Arts provides the visitors with a permanent exposition of the fine arts of the Caucasus and Central Asia, familiarizing them with the artistic processes and brilliant personalities of the East.
