Research and production centers will be created in higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan. Deputy Prime Minister Purli Agamyradov, who is in charge of education, stated this at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to ECO Cultural Institute quoting Turkmenportal, he said that it is planned to create a Scientific and Production Center for Natural and Exact Sciences at the Makhtumkuli Turkmen State University, and a Transport and Logistics Scientific Center will appear at the Institute of Engineering, Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the exceptional importance of the comprehensive development of national science and increasing the efficiency of research in all sectors of the economy and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to take appropriate measures to actively use the potential of research institutions and higher schools, stimulate scientific activities and train young erudite scientists.
The head of Turkmenistan instructed to finalize the submitted project, focusing on the need for a thorough analysis of the most demanded areas of scientific activity and the prompt transfer of research results into a practical plane, the State News Agency reports.
