Uzbek theatre and cinema actor Shukur Burkhanov, who has performed in Hamza Theater for more than 50 years, turned 110.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting kultura.uz, the famous theater actor joined the art scene in 1928, when he was 17 years old, and with the guidance of his teacher Manan Uyghur, he learned the art.
His most notable roles on the stage are ‘Garoutsia' in Hamlet, ‘Frandasso' in Lupe de Vigo drama, and ‘Ghafur' in Rich and Poor.
The 110th birth anniversary of the artist was specially celebrated in Uzbekistan.
