The second pre-conference on "Reading Al-Farabi's Philosophy of Music" will be held on December 15, 2020 by the Iranian Academy of Arts.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoted by ILNA, concurrent with the Research Day, the second virtual pre-conference on "Reading Al-Farabi's Philosophy of Music" will be held by the Iranian Academy of Arts in cooperation with the Society for the Appreciation of Cultural Works and Dignitaries of Iran.
Hassan Bolkhari Qehi, Seyed Mohammad Reza Beheshti, Seyed Mohammad Taghi Tabatabai and Kaveh Khorabeh will speak at the ceremony, which will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, from 10:00 to 12:00.
Also in the pre-conference, Seyed Teymour Mehrabi will play the tambourine, and Morad Aghaei will play the Qopuz.
The event will be held with the goal of creating a suitable ground to introduce Al-Farabi's philosophy on music and its effects on Iranian, Arabic and Turkish music to date.
The first edition of the event on "Reading Al-Farabi's Philosophy on Khorasani Tambourine Music" was held in December 2019 in the Iran Hall of the Academy of Arts in which Abdolmajid Kiani, the late Ali Bayani and Babak Khazraei delivered their speeches.
