Iran, Azerbaijan Review Ways to Expand Cinematographic Co-Productions
In a meeting between Iran's Cultural Attaché to the Republic of Azerbaijan with the Head of Azerbaijan Space TV Company, the ways of Cinematographic cooperation were examined.

According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting ICRO, Ghorbanali Pourmarjan, Iran's Cultural Attaché to the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with Vagif Mustafayev, the President of the Space TV Company.
In his remarks, Pourmarjan stressed the need for bilateral cooperation in the field of culture and art between the two countries and said: "Iran, with its strong film industry and world-renowned directors and artists, is ready to air its cinematic productions through Azerbaijani TV networks."
Iran's Cultural Attaché to Azerbaijan added: "Iran and Azerbaijan share cultural-artistic commonalties, so they can aim at numerous Practical Cooperation Areas to implement in future. To achieve this goal we need the partnership of cultural, artistic centers and film producers in both countries ".
In a speech, Vagif Mustafayev, said: "Azerbaijan and Iran share strong historical and cultural connections. Iranian films are popular worldwide and we are ready to cooperate in filmmaking and other related fields."
The President of Space TV pointed to the production of the films "Mollansereddin" and "Faryad 2", and called for the collaboration of Iranian film companies in making the two films.
He added: "Space TV is ready to collaborate with Iranian cultural Attaches and Iranian film-producers in broadcasting middle class films and series with family and moral themes.
