Turkmen Foreign Minister Held Online Meeting with UN Envoys
Turkmenistan - Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the heads of the UN representative offices and international financial institutions in Ashgabat.

According to ECO Cultural Institute quoting Turkmen portal, key issues of cooperation were discussed during an online meeting of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov with heads of UN representative offices and international financial institutions accredited to Ashgabat.
The participants of the meeting emphasized on the efficiency of joint plans and programs particularly in the areas of health, education and culture with special focus on the framework program for cooperation in the field of sustainable development between the government of Turkmenistan and the United Nations for 2021-2025.
The foreign Minister noted the important contribution of all foreign partners working in Turkmenistan, including the office of the UN Permanent coordinator, the offices of UNDP, UNICEF, UNFPA, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for solving pressing socio-economic issues.
The implementation of plans and programs to counteract acute infectious diseases, including timely vaccination, prevention and public awareness, was discussed separately.
They also exchanged views on promoting cooperation in the field of digitalization, combating climate change, and preserving the world's cultural heritage.
During the meeting, Turkmenistan's commitment to fulfilling its obligations in the field of human rights and international humanitarian law was confirmed.
