The 880-kilometer highway between China and Pakistan was built at the cost of $65 billion over 36 months.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting Mashreq News Agency, the green highway, which has caused the least harm to nature and caused the least trees to be cut down, is about 24 kilometers across Lake Attaabad in Pakistan, connecting China’s East Turkestan to Pakistan’s Kashmir. It passes through the northern parts of the Himalayas.
