Olim-Khon Kuchorov, Professor of Literature at the National University of Tajikistan turns 75.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting pressa.tj, Olim-Khon Kuchorov was born on February 4, 1946, in the village of Sarchashma in the Shur-Abad district of the Khatlon region. He graduated from the Tajik Faculty of Philosophy in 1969 and worked at the Kulab State Educational Institute.
Professor Olim-Khon Kuchorov completed his postgraduate studies in 1976 and defended his dissertation in 1978. He was a researcher at the Rudaki Institute of Language and Literature from 1989 to 1991 and in September 1997 became a member of the Department of Persian and Tajik Literature at the Tajik National University.
From 2002 to 2010, Olim-Khon Kuchorov was the head of the Department of Persian Literature at the National University of Tajikistan.
