The Press Center of the Tajik Environment Committee announced the strengthening of cooperation between the country and France in the field of environmental protection and adaptation to climate change.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting Fars News Agency in Dushanbe, Bahodur Sheralizoda, chairman of the Tajik government’s environmental committee met with France’s ambassador to the country, Michel Taran.
During the two countries’ cooperation in the field of climate change, protection of glaciers, as well as issues related to exclusive protection natural areas with the French Agency for Development were discussed.
In his speech, Sheralizoda drew the attention of the French diplomat to strengthening the process of cooperation in the field of environmental protection, adaptation to climate change and using the experience of the French in the implementation of projects.
