ECI Participates in Tehran Virtual Book Fair
ECO Cultural Institute participated in the first Tehran Virtual International Book Fair which opened on January 20 and will run until January 25 2021.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, ECI, which has actively participated at earlier editions of this important event, this time it presents variety of works by cultural elites of member countries of ECO such as “The Life and Works of Kamal Khujandi”, “My Lover Will Come!”, “Letters and Correspondence in Shahnameh”, “Forty Lessons from Kamal”, “Iran and Iqbal (Historical-Content Analysis of Iqbal Studies in Iran)”, “Regional Cooperation on the Basis of Cultural Commonness (Cooperation of National Libraries of ECO Member States)”, “A Window of Love”, “The Life of Iqbal and His Time”, “Zarb Kalim”, “Rumi: Life, Works and Excerpts from Them”, “Comprehensive Grammar of Urdu Language for Persian-speaking People”, “Masnavi Ma’navi”, “Legends from Silk Road”, “A Breeze from Bukhara”, “The Persian Divan of Jam Sultan”.
In the first Tehran Virtual International Book Fair, there are video clips introducing the newly published magazines and books of “The ECO Cultural Institute Publications” as well as speeches by Sarvar Bakhti, President of the ECO Cultural Institute, Nizamuddin Zahedi, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan; and Abdul Ghafoor Liwal, the Ambassador Extraordinary of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in the international webinar of “The Recognition of the Heritage of Thought and Knowledge of Kamal Khujandi” held to commemorate the poet’s 100th birthday.
