According to the ECO Cultural Institute, the central square of the Tajikistan capital Dushanbe is decorated with a large decorative structure of wheat germ as a symbol of the national New Year to celebrate the ancient festival of Nowruz.
Although International Nowruz will not be widely celebrated in Tajikistan this year due to the Coronavirus pandemic, a large wheat germ decoration has been installed in Dushanbe as an initiative made by local traders.
