In continuation of the series of meetings held to honor the dignitaries of the ECO region, ECO Cultural Institute will hold a specialist webinar on “Attar on the Horizon of Literature and Poetry of the ECO Region” on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 14:00 Tehran time to mark the National Day of Attar Nishapuri.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, On the occasion of Attar Nishapur's National Day, a cultural and scientific meeting will be held in cyberspace by ECO Cultural Institute on “Attar in the Horizon of Literature and Poetry of the ECO Region”
In the international webinar Sarvar Bakhti, President of the ECO Cultural Institute will give the opening remarks followed by speeches made by Dr. Asghar Dadbeh, Professor of Allameh Tabataba’i University, Dr. Seyedeh Shokufeh Akbarzadeh, writer and researcher from Afghanistan, Dr. Fatemeh Fayyaz, a professor at Lahore University of Pakistan and Dr. Sharif-Murad Israfilnia, a professor at the National University of Tajikistan, on Attar’s works and his position in the ECO region.
The meeting will focus on the topics like “Attar’s life and era”, “Position of Attar in the literature of ECO countries, including Afghanistan, Pakistan and Tajikistan”, “Unity of existence in Attar’s view”, “Recognition of Attar on the subcontinent” and “The influence of Attar on the mystics of the past and present”.
