ECI to Unveil Latest Publications on Pakistan’s Literature
The unveiling ceremony of the latest publications on Pakistan’s language and literature will be held virtually on Monday, May 17, at 2:00 pm Tehran time (9:30 UTC) at the ECO Cultural Institute.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, in this virtual meeting, the books “Tree of Words (Collection of Minimal Stories)” written by Mubasher-Ali Zaidi, the second edition of “Comprehensive Grammar of Urdu Language for Persian-speaking People”, written by Dr. Shahed Choudhary and the  poetry collection titled “Pirhan Gom Karde’am”, by Pakistani poet, Ahmad Shahriyar will be unveiled.
In this meeting, after the opening remarks of Mr. Sarvar Bakhti, President of ECO Cultural Institute, the speakers Dr. Ali Bayat, Associate Professor of Urdu Language and Literature at the University of Tehran, Dr. Ali Davoudi, Director of the Poetry Office of Arts Center and Dr. Vafa Yazdanmanesh, Associate Professor, Department of Urdu Language and Literature, University of Tehran, and Ms. Anbarin Ashraf, PhD student in Persian Language and Literature at Shahid Beheshti University share viewpoints concerning the situation of writers and the way they conduct researches and compile their published works.
It is worth mentioning that “Tree of Words (Collection of Minimal Stories)” and the second edition of “Comprehensive Grammar of Urdu Language for Persian-speaking People” by ECO Cultural Institute Publications and “Pirhan Gom Karde’am” by Shahrestan-e Adab Cultural and Artistic Institute have recently been made available to the public.
