ECI President meets with ECO Secretary General
Dr. Hojatollah Ayyubi ECI President, in meeting with H.E. Yahya Maroufi, ECO Secretary General, negotiated about ways for expanding cultural cooperation among ECO member states. In this meeting that was held on October 18th 2009, in ECO Secretariat, ECI President mentioned culture as effective support for making closer ECO regional states and emphasized on importance of Cultural and artistic view and its role in development of regional cooperation. Dr. Ayyubi in this meeting further cooperation of ECI International programs such as specializing this year International Section of Fajr Music Festival to ECO countries, performing Nowruz cultural ceremonies with presence of some of ECO Member States in Iran, performing monthly cultural and artistic sessions in Iran National Library with presence of musicians, cinematographers, authors and other cultural authorities from ECO Member States and also described about performing 1st Sportive Championship by name of ECO National Cup in Iran.
ECO Secretary General also in this meeting hope that ECI could with expanding cultural cooperation other than 4 present member states of this Institute, other ECO countries also be complete member of this organization. H.E. Yahya Maroufi, with appreciation of performing Nowrouz cultural ceremonies, with participation of high ranking authorities of ECI Member States in Iran, asked for invitation from other ECO Member States for presence in this ceremony. He also informed execution of establishment of ECO TV project as one of important pace for expanding cultural cooperation from ECI and informed ECO Secretariat readiness for close cooperation with ECI in order to perform above mentioned projects.

1st ECO Printing Fair to be Held
The 1st ECO International Printing and Packaging Industries Exhibition (PECO 2009) is scheduled to be held in Mashhad, November 19-23, 2009.
More than 30 reputable commercial brands of the printing and packaging industries are going to participate in the event.
The sections of the fair include: Prepress Systems, Press Machinery and Systems, Bookbinding and Post Press Machinery and Systems, Corrugating Machinery and Services, Paper and Offset Printing Machinery.
