“Tajikistan Arts & Culture Festival” is scheduled to be held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan in early June, 2009.
Books on literature, science and technology, arts and architecture, IT and athletics in Persian, Arabic, English and Russian languages will be on display. A section will be dedicated to the “Quranic arts”, where invaluable manuscripts of Quran written in many languages of the world, will be presented for the visitors to see. Also in this festival, handicrafts and national costumes of ECO countries will be exhibited. An area, fully devoted for the promotion of tourism will be set up to show, the tourist attraction points of ECO region. Book reading competition and meetings with artistic personalities and cultural celebrities are also among the many features programmed for this Arts and Culture Festival.
