In order to realize one of the objectives set forth in ECI Charter to ' promote regional cooperation pertaining to the sports', the 20th edition of ECO Cultural Institute's English quarterly ‘ECO Heritage' was published on the theme of 'Sports in ECO Region'.
This issue covers topics such as the sport of Buzkashi in Afghanistan; achievements of the Republic of Azerbaijn in sports; Chogan and Varzesh-e Pahlavi of Iran; Kazakhstan's traditional horse racing and power games; world nomad games held in Kyrgyz Republic; Pakistan's popular traditional and contemporary sports; history of physical culture and sports in Tajikistan; traditional Turkish games; Turkmenistan's Goresh sport and achivements of the Republic of Uzbekistan in sports.
