The special issue of ECO Times journal on ECI's activities has been published.
According to ECI news, this issue is a brief glance at ECI's activities between October 2016 to December 2018 in areas including visual arts, literature and poetry, performing arts, tourism, conferences, workshops and academic courses, expert panels, international relations, museums, libraries, women, peace promotion, sports and publication. The journal's team includes Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Mazaheri, ECI President, the Director-in-Charge; Dr. Morteza Mousavian, the Chief editor; Parisa Firouzkouhi, Executive Director and Mohammad Mahmoodi, Internal Affairs Manager.
Some of the novel measures taken up during the incumbent tenure of ECI's management is the establishment of joint regional unions such as the ECO Digital Publishers Union, the ECO Journalists Union and the ECO Broadcasting Union, the establishment of the first ECO cinema office, the formation of the ECO Cultural Discourse Fraction at Iran's Parliament, planning sport events under 'ECO Cup', holding the 4th meeting of heads of ECO National Libraries and Archives after a seven-year lapse of time and proclaiming the year 2018 as the 'Year of Reading Culture in ECO Region'. Furthermore, in order to expand ECI's capacities in the international arena, negotiations have been made with ambassadors from different countries of Asia, Europe and Latin America, as well as heads of international organizations.
