The 16th International Zhautykov Olympiad in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science (IZhO) was held in January 9-13, 2020, in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Khovar news agency reported.
At the Olympiad, students from 20 world countries in 82 fields of science participated. Among the participants, there were13 Tajik students selected from among the elite students of Dushanbe city as well as Tajik-Russian Lyceum "Hotam and PV" who won 2 silver and 10 bronze medals as well as 12 honorary titles.
It is worth mentioning that during 2019, the Tajik students participated in 31 international Olympiads and earned 251 honorary titles, 65 gold, 66 silver and 118 bronze medals.
