The Golden Pomegranate ceremony for the ninth Iranian Films Awards of Australia was held in Tehran under the management of Armin Miladi on Jan 19, 2021 in the Australian Embassy. The awards of the winners were distributed during the ceremony in the presence of the Australian Ambassador and the board of jury.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting ISNA, the ceremony was held with all health protocols in consideration and restricted due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
