In Kyrgyzstan, on the coast of Lake Issyk-Kul, the Second Summer International Festival and Go Game Tournament - Issyk-Kul Go Cup 2023 was held, in which more than 200 players from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Russia, Belarus, UK and USA took part. Issyk-Kul Go Cup is one of the international tournaments in Central Asia, held by the Go Federation of Kyrgyzstan. The purpose of the tournament is the development and popularization of the Asian strategic game of Go, the exchange of experience, the establishment of sports relations between Go federations, as well as the improvement of the qualifications and skill level of athletes.
