The exhibition “Colorful Asia: an exhibition of Asian costumes” opened in Hangzhou, China.
According to the press service of the Culture and Art Development Foundation of Uzbekistan, this country exhibited twenty works from the collection of the Art Museum and the Samarkand State Museum. Most of the presented works are made of needles, chapan and traditional jewelry of Uzbekistan.
Saida Mirziyoyeva, assistant to the president of Uzbekistan, said about the cultural and economic significance of this event: during trade, including silk, close diplomatic relations were formed, cultures were intertwined and technologies were exchanged, which led to mutual development and economic prosperity in the extension of the Great Silk Road helped.
