Tashkent hosted the opening ceremony of the 15th Tashkent International Film Festival “Pearl of the Silk Road”, at the Cinematographers House.
About 300 filmmakers, actors and actresses, directors and cameramen, producers and analysts from 52 countries are participating in the film festival.The film festival program is varied and very interesting. It includes about 200 events. These are photo exhibitions dedicated to the work of the great filmmakers of Central Asia Malika Qayumova, Nabi Ganiyev, Komil Yormatov, and Baken Gidikeyev, more than 60 masterclasses and creative meetings for the youth of the country with the participation of masters of international cinematography.
