The Gala concert on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy was held in one of the most famous music halls in Vienna. This event was performed with the youth orchestra led by Rasul Klichov. The final song is the invitation song "Gal Turkmena!" (Come to Turkmenistan!)" played by Atajan Berdiev and Leila Okdirova.
One of the big events this year was the inclusion of Magtymguly Pyragy's collection of manuscripts in UNESCO's "Memory of the World" list.
