The opening ceremony of the 14th World Kurash Wrestling Championship took place in the Olympic village of Ashgabat. In total, more than 240 athletes from 46 countries take part in the competition. Athletes will compete for 15 sets of medals in seven men's and eight women's weight categories over two days - November 27 and 28.
