The international exhibition was held in Ashgabat on the sidelines of the "Dialogue and Peace" international conference.
This news was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan. In this exhibition, works, information and advertisements in the field of tourism and investment are presented. Books about the history and civilization of the ancient Tajik people, samples of national costumes, ceramics, musical instruments, photographs and pictures of interesting places that reflect the cultural heritage of Tajikistan are exhibited. Also, a variety of traditional sweets are offered to many foreign guests. In this event, the participants of the exhibition were introduced to handicrafts, embroidery, pottery, etc.
It should be noted that the exhibition of decorative-functional and decorative arts of Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran was opened in Ashgabat. The official opening of this joint exhibition was held in the building of the Museum of History and Local Arts of Maryam region with the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Culture of Iran and Turkmenistan and cultural institutions, the general public, mass media and culture and art workers.
The delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran included art workers, national handicrafts, mosaics, decorative and applied arts. The works performed in two ancient "Torotic" styles - "Isfahani" and "Tabrizi" -, where plant decorations, traditional symbols and Iranian miniature designs were used, aroused special attention among the visitors.
