For four days, an exhibition with the aim of displaying culture and art and marketing women's handicrafts has been held in Herat province.
Behnaz Saljouqi, the head of the Western Zone Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Women, said that holding such exhibitions can be of great help in empowering business women in Herat. In this exhibition, which lasts for four days, 120 women have displayed their handicrafts for the purpose of marketing. Handicrafts such as qalin carpets, food items, pottery, paintings, miniatures, bags, hats, women's clothes and other items are displayed in this exhibition.
It is said that during this year, this is the umpteenth handicrafts exhibition held by businesswomen in Herat.
